It's ... Abandoned

... after sampling six different kinds of coffee (plus one espresso shot!) this afternoon--from an "eclectic premium" coffee roaster in Alhambra--i found myself just a few steps up the block, struck by this abandoned industrial warehouse. From the rain earlier in the day, the paneled exterior looked liked soaked corrugated cardboard ready to collapse. I wondered what kind of factory this had been and why places like this feel not only creepy, but also, so otherworldly?
